This little archive contains a couple of things, mostly for my convenience: Math: The packages petsc and illuminator are backported from sid to woody and sarge. Pilot: Packages needed to successfully hotsync a pilot in woody's GNOME, including: pilot-link gnome-pilot (patched to use vendor and product IDs, including recent devices) gnome-pilot-conduits gnome-pim (with heavily patched gnomecal pilot conduit) OpenAFS: A bunch of openafs modules packages built against the new kernels described below and the Debian stock kernels. To get openafs itself, you can use deb http://www.openafs.org/dl/openafs/1.2.10/debian-3.0/ ./ Mozilla: Four security bugs in 1.0.2 from stable-proposed-updates are patched in this release. REMOVED 2003/10/17 because Takuo Kitame has uploaded packages fixing these bugs. Misc: Various packages with fixes for stupid bugs, e.g. woody ssh-askpass-gnome conflicts with ssh-krb5, libglide3 recommends device3dfx-source (doesn't work because glide fails to build from source), etc. Kernel: A couple of kernels for special CPUs such as C3, and newer kernels not in stable-proposed-updates such as 2.4.24 (using built using woody tools from sarge kernel-source-2.4.24 using config from sarge's kernel-image-2.4.24-i386 packages). Apt sources.list lines for the archive's sections might look like: deb http://lyre.mit.edu/~powell/debian woody math pilot misc openafs kernel deb-src http://lyre.mit.edu/~powell/debian woody math pilot misc Most archives are compiled for the i386 and alpha platforms. Openafs and kernel are omitted from the sources because their sources are packages in another archive, e.g. openafs-modules-source on openafs.org and kernel-source-2.4.22 in Debian unstable.
